Sushi Schnitzel is an original pub set created by Satomi Hofmann. It masterfully honors aspects of Hofmann’s Japanese and German roots, her close relationship with her Russian stepmother, and eight-year history with the all-female Celtic rock band, Killian’s Angels. This eclectic set emphasizes participation from the audience, with Satomi herself saying: “There’s gonna be a lot of toasting, clapping along, singing along, yelling along…”

The production was originally staged at New York City’s Green Room 42 in September 2024. The 90-minute set starred Hofmann in wonderful company with her band: JD Hunter (Fiddle), Emily Davies (Bass, Bodhrán), Sonya Siebert (Keys), Sarah Tompkins (Drum Kit).
